MK.H.S.A has been working with College Of North East London (C.O.N.E.L) to deliver barbering NVQ units from basic cutting techniques to basic shaving.

MK was seen giving barbering classes at Wella Studios in west end London with HABIA the UK’s hairdressing standards body. After the show (C.O.N.E.L) had approached MK inviting him to deliver courses and based it around MK’s busy schedule.

After a sell out show with spectators from all over the industry from teachers to salon owners the interest was huge with an over whelming response to the private training courses run by MK...

Habia is the specialist group which deals with writing the national standards for Afro hairdressing across the UK.

MKHSA has been appointed by Habia to assist them on raising the national standards in barbering across the UK.

MK’s main role is to scrutinise its current form then to implement the necessary steps to take a student novice to become a competent barber. All areas of cutting, shaving, customer service, design work health & safety are examined.

MKHSA will be providing education seminars covering Afro and European hair for colleges aimed towards tutors mainly. Other duties will be to perform demonstrations on the latest techniques for students to be inspired and professionals to be encouraged to learn more and update their skills.

MKHSA is also part of the barbering steering group of which he directs all to do with afro barbering this involve planning courses, teaching and assessing.

Americas largest clipper company

Andis, Americas largest clipper company have recruited MKHSA for their official launching and branding in the UK.

MK’s role here is to organise exhibition show for demonstrating the use of tools in a flamboyant attractive way yet ensuring it is educational, in-turn making larger sales margins.

Another role of MK is full consultants on all new product lines that they wish to come on the market, this also leads on to conducting seminars also involving demonstrating barbering techniques with their tools.

Andis will be releasing a DVD about their clippers starring MK and all his amazing styles that he has done, to be sold across the UK at wholesalers and colleges.
